Variety Bash

For the fifth year, Resi Ventures hit the road to take part in the 2026 Variety Bash, Australia’s longest-running charity motoring event. 

Sponsored by Resi Ventures, Oliver Hume and many other generous supporters, “The Land Monkeys”, once again completed an incredible 10-day outback adventure from Halls Gap, Victoria to Exmouth, Western Australia.

The Land Monkeys team includes Resi Ventures Director Anthony Braunthal, Oliver Hume General Manager of Marketing Harvey Carretero, and other property industry colleagues.

This year, the team made the journey in two cars, an HZ Holden and an HR Holden.

The Land Monkey’s mission is to raise awareness and encourage donations for Variety – The Children’s Charity, helping support children and families in need.

The team are passionate about raising funds for Variety and making a meaningful difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and their families; they love what the charity provides, and it keeps them coming back for the bash year after year.

As part of the fundraising effort, Resi Ventures, Oliver Hume and Sherridon Homes have partnered to build two family homes at Accolade Estate in Rockbank. The two, four bedroom homes are currently under construction on Wasim Court and Kohli Crescent and are well on their way to completion.

100% of the profits from the homes will be donated to Variety – The Children’s Charity.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and sponsored the Land Monkeys, helping them raise an incredible $561, 548. The team will be back in 2027 alongside their fellow Bashers, doing it all again for the kids.
