Anthony Braunthal

FOUNDER

Anthony is a Director of Resi Ventures and oversees all aspects of the business, with a focus on financial management. He has more than 25 years’ business experience across government, corporate and private enterprise.

Anthony has created numerous start-ups and raised equity capital in a broad range of industries, including software development, human resources, professional services, biotechnology, property development and clean tech.

Anthony founded CiT Professionals in 2003, an IT resourcing group. The company was rated by BRW in 2006 as Australia’s fastest growing IT business and in the top 10 overall. Anthony is a proven performer in business and driving successful outcomes.

Khurram Saeed

FOUNDER

Khurram is a Director of Resi Ventures and has more than 17 years’ experience in the property development, property finance (mezzanine and equity funding) and property funds management sectors.

Khurram’s early career in land sales across Melbourne’s growth corridors led him into property development and property syndication. His passion for the property industry progressed into residential subdivisions and acquiring off market land deals and as a result in partnership with Anthony Braunthal Resi Ventures was established.

Khurram’s industry knowledge and vast networks ensure that Resi Ventures work alongside the best consultants in the industry.

Rodney Mifsud

DIRECTOR OF ACQUISITIONS

Rodney has a passion for land and people, continuously striving to achieve outcomes that are desirable for all parties. Having lived in Melbourne all his life, he has seen the ongoing urban landscape unfold, positive progression, expanding infrastructure and benefits of living in a thriving community.

Rodney has in-depth experience in working across all aspects of the acquisition process and has a proven track record in researching growth areas, negotiating contracts, and securing land deals. He has consistently put together win-win deals using Land Development Agreements (LDAs), Joint Ventures (JVs) and structured purchases. Prior to joining Resi Ventures, he transacted on multiple englobo land deals worth in excess of $500 million with an end value of $2 billion.

Terri Baldwin

FINANCE & OFFICE MANAGER

Terri assists in the overall financial management, accounting and compliance of Resi Ventures and ensures all administrative tasks are streamlined within the business. Her key skills lie in cashflow, budgeting, process improvement and negotiating win-win outcomes with suppliers and customers. Supporting the Directors with projects and her in-depth knowledge of organisational products and process ensure that Resi Ventures runs smoothly.

Robert Newnham

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Rob is our Development Manager who oversees the full land development lifecycle of our projects. Rob’s expert knowledge of land development processes and his ability to manage key stakeholders through the construction process, alleviates risks and ensures projects are delivered on time.

Rob is a qualified Construction Engineer who has honed his expertise by starting in residential development and moving into land development consultancy.

Elissa Hayes

MARKETING MANAGER

Elissa is responsible for working with key stakeholders to optimise marketing performance for Resi Ventures projects. She has experience working in marketing and communication roles in government, corporate, private and hospitality sectors.

Elissa’s early career working in a media agency environment with a transition into a corporate marketing and communications roles has allowed her to have a full understanding across all aspects of marketing from sales, project management, branding, design, advertising, client service and account management.

Sarah Davis

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

With qualifications in civil engineering and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning, Sarah brings a wealth of industry-based knowledge and experience in built form and large-scale residential master planned communities.

Sarah is passionate about good urban design and delivering sustainable projects. She has worked on metro and regional projects and has honed her skills in end-to-end project management, funding applications, landowner negotiations and major infrastructure implementation.

Her career highlights thus far include the planning and delivery of a mixed-use Neighbourhood Activity Centre complex in Armstrong Creek, federal environmental approvals, and the delivery of over 3000 lots across a variety of master planned communities.

Sarah is responsible for actively driving key project strategy and providing a consultative approach to increase efficiencies and deliver successful outcomes. Her extensive involvement working on residential subdivisions from inception to project delivery complemented with her strong industry connections has made her a perfect fit with Resi Ventures.

Ethan Bergman

LAND ACQUISITION RESEARCHER

Ethan Bergman is Land Acquisition Researcher at Resi Ventures. Ethan is currently enrolled at RMIT University studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property and Valuation).

Still in the early stages of his professional career, thus far he has developed his skills and experience in the property industry valuation sector at one of Melbourne’s leading consultancy firms, Preston Rowe Paterson.

His role at Resi Ventures sees him working closely with the Director of Acquisitions to strategically source and assess property data to determine high value acquisition opportunities in the growth areas of Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Tony Abi-Fares

SOUTHEAST QUEENSLAND ACQUISITION MANAGER

Tony is our Acquisitions Manager based in Queensland. He is responsible for securing broadacre land development opportunities within the southeast region of the state.

His multifaceted career provides Resi Ventures expertise in business development, acquisitions and consultancy having held senior positions in property, logistics and the resources sector.

With a passion for property his role at Project Management Advisors as a Principal Consultant saw him responsible for acquiring new land deals and delivering strategic advice to clients on residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects as well as negotiating joint venture partnership solutions.

Tony works directly with the company’s co-founders to grow the business by sourcing and identifying new opportunities; on an off market, implementing deal structures and negotiating the final transaction.

Tony holds a Diploma of Building and Construction from Victoria University and qualifications in Business Management.
