Anthony has over 25 year’s business experience across government, corporate and private enterprise. He brings to the board extensive start-up experience, in which he is a proven performer in taking businesses through the full lifecycle, from concept to fully scalable, culminating in successful exit strategies for shareholders.
Anthony has created numerous start-ups and raised equity capital in a broad range of industries, including software development, human resources, professional services, biotechnology, property development and clean tech.
Most recently, Anthony founded CiT Professionals in 2003, an IT resourcing group. He exited CiT Professionals in June 2010 having built to over 300 staff/contractors with revenues generated in excess of $100 million. The company was rated by BRW in 2006 as Australia’s fastest growing IT business and ranked in the top 10 across all businesses.
For over 15 years, Khurram has been actively involved in the property development, property finance (mezzanine and equity funding) and property funds management sectors.
From a career that started in property development sales, door-knocking Landowners all over Melbourne’s growth corridors, Khurram transitioned into property development and property syndication, developing essential skills in residential land subdivision, land development management and acquiring off-market land deals.
Khurram is an expert in all stages of residential land development, including acquiring off-market land, bringing land inside the UGB, rezoning land for highest and best use, working with all stakeholders to gain PSP approval, and carrying out residential subdivisions in Melbourne’s growth corridors.
Having started his career in residential development in 2011 as a Construction Engineer for a Melbourne based land development consultancy, Rob was able to build his knowledge of land development from the ground up.
This construction background allowed Rob to develop his skills and substantial understanding required to manage key stakeholders through the construction process and minimise the risk of key milestones including the statement of compliance processes to ensure titles are issued in a timely manner.
With a significant knowledge base behind him, Rob made the transition into Project Management of residential development as a consultant working on a large number of projects for Developers in Melbourne’s growth corridors. This experience provided the opportunity to manage the full land development life cycle displaying his expertise by successfully taking a variety of projects from inception and feasibility studies to final completion. Rob’s expert knowledge of land development processes will provide all stakeholders with peace of mind that the project is in the best possible hands at Resi Ventures.
DIRECTOR — ACQUISITIONS
Rodney has a passion for land and people, continuously striving to achieve outcomes that are desirable for all parties. Having lived in Melbourne all his life, he has seen the ongoing urban landscape unfold, positive progression, expanding infrastructure and benefits of living in a thriving community. Working with Landowners he feels a deep connection as he strives to understand their needs and build strong relationships. He is focussed on delivering the best possible results and is committed to exceeding expectations.
Rodney has consistently put together win-win deals using Land Development Agreements (LDAs), Joint Ventures (JVs) and structured purchases. Prior to joining Resi Ventures, he transacted on multiple englobo land deals worth in excess of $500 million with an end value of $2 billion. His proven track record is built on in-depth knowledge and understanding gained over many years of experience in land transactions which has helped him develop and foster robust relationships within the industry.
Rodney is excited in joining Resi Ventures, working alongside a local developer where he can avail himself of creative solutions that are designed to ensure the Landowner benefits from being part of the development journey. His objective is to be able to assist Landowners achieve the maximum value from their land utilising his knowledge of all aspects involved in land development. Elissa has over 10 years’ experience working in marketing and communication roles in government, corporate, private and hospitality sectors.
Having started her career in tv media sales and transitioned to media buying then into marketing and communications roles, she has developed skills across all facets of marketing and brings to Resi Ventures a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Elissa is passionate about delivering positive marketing results for the businesses she works with. She loves the variety that marketing offers and the people she gets to connect with. She continually has her finger on the pulse monitoring insights and market trends to deliver successful end-to-end marketing campaigns.

FINANCE & OFFICE MANAGER
Terri brings a wealth of experience in administrative management that has streamlined office functions, enabling Resi Ventures to concentrate on what they do best – Develop Land!
With a history of finance and office management roles across a broad range of sectors from IT to recruitment including a variety of start-ups, Terri understands what it takes to get a successful business off the ground and keep it humming. Her expertise covers cashflow, budgeting, process improvement and negotiating win-win outcomes with suppliers and customers alike.
Having successfully taken two businesses through ISO certification and more recently through certification upgrade Terri has shown a dedication and persistence towards quality that should reassure anybody looking to work with Resi Ventures that they’re getting best of breed. Her past involvement working with one of the directors, Anthony Braunthal saw her assist in taking a private company into the public domain with the business becoming part of a listed enterprise in which the rigours of ASX compliance had to be adhered to. Terri is well equipped to assist in scaling Resi Ventures so that it can continue to flourish and deal with the challenges that lay ahead.
With qualifications in civil engineering and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning, Sarah brings a wealth of industry-based knowledge and experience in built form and large-scale residential master planned communities.
Sarah is passionate about good urban design and delivering sustainable projects. She has worked on metro and regional projects and has honed her skills in end-to-end project management, funding applications, landowner negotiations and major infrastructure implementation.
Her career highlights thus far include the planning and delivery of a mixed-use Neighbourhood Activity Centre complex in Armstrong Creek, federal environmental approvals, and the delivery of over 3000 lots across a variety of master planned communities.
Sarah is responsible for actively driving key project strategy and providing a consultative approach to increase efficiencies and deliver successful outcomes. Her extensive involvement working on residential subdivisions from inception to project delivery complemented with her strong industry connections has made her a perfect fit with Resi Ventures.
LAND ACQUISITION RESEARCHER
Ethan Bergman is Land Acquisition Researcher at Resi Ventures. Ethan is currently enrolled at RMIT University studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property and Valuation).
Still in the early stages of his professional career, thus far he has developed his skills and experience in the property industry valuation sector at one of Melbourne’s leading consultancy firms, Preston Rowe Paterson.
His role at Resi Ventures sees him working closely with the Director of Acquisitions to strategically source and assess property data to determine high value acquisition opportunities in the growth areas of Melbourne and regional Victoria.
SOUTH EAST QUEENSLAND ACQUISITIONS MANAGER
Tony is our Acquisitions Manager based in Queensland. He is responsible for securing broadacre land development opportunities within the south east region of the state.
His multifaceted career provides Resi Ventures expertise in business development, acquisitions and consultancy having held senior positions in property, logistics and the resources sector.
With a passion for property his role at Project Management Advisors as a Principal Consultant saw him responsible for acquiring new land deals and delivering strategic advice to clients on residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects as well as negotiating joint venture partnership solutions.
Tony works directly with the company’s co-founders to grow the business by sourcing and identifying new opportunities; on an off market, implementing deal structures and negotiating the final transaction.
Tony holds a Diploma of Building and Construction from Victoria University and qualifications in Business Management.
