Victorian Government First Home Owner Grant.

If you’re a first home buyer, you could be eligible to receive a $10,000 grant to put towards the build of your new home. When researching your first home, it’s worth looking into what government grants are available, as you could be eligible for more support than you think.

As part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to helping more people into their first homes, eligible buyers can receive a $10,000 First Home Owner Grant. The grant can be used towards buying or building a new home in Victoria, including a house, townhouse, apartment or unit. To be eligible, the property must be your principal place of residence, be up to the value of $750,000 and have not previously been sold, occupied as a home, or leased.
