Hervey Bay Offers the Same Growth Opportunities as Noosa 15 Years Ago

MEDIA RELEASE

Bloom estate selling 800 sqm lots for $250,000 on Fraser Coast

Hervey Bay offers the same opportunity for capital growth as Noosa did 15 years ago according to a recent purchaser at Resi Ventures “Bloom” estate.

Gary, a tradie from Maleny in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, is planning to move to Hervey Bay and build a new family home after buying the 800 sqm Lot 119 in “Bloom” for $253,000.

“That’s the same price I paid for an 800 sqm lot on the Sunshine Coast in 2009.  That same block would cost me $800,000 today and even a 350 sqm block would cost $400,000,” he said.

Gary has told a number of his friends about the opportunity to buy a family-sized lot only 10 minutes from the coast.

“Hervey Bay offers the most affordable coastal land in the region and I can see many people priced out of the Sunshine Coast region heading 2.5 hours up the road to enjoy a similar lifestyle for a fraction of the price,” he said.

Gary said Hervey Bay offered the expanding social and retail infrastructure required for a growing town and believes it is on a similarly spectacular growth trajectory to the Noosa region of the early 2000s.

“When you drive up to Hervey Bay and you see the promenade and walkway you realise there is a lot of lifestyle infrastructure with cafés, restaurants, beaches and markets,” he said.

Gary said he particularly likes the fact Bloom is on a gentle rise that will catch the sea winds.

“Breezes can’t be manufactured,” he said.

Oliver Hume Marketing agent Nathan Tertis said the popularity of the estate was due to its prime location close to the town centre, 3 minutes from the medical precinct and 12 minutes from the airport.

“You can jump in your car and be in central Hervey Bay in a few minutes to have a meal, go shopping, launch your boat, fish or do some whale watching,” he said.

Resi Ventures Director and Co-Founder, Mr Khurram Saeed said his company had undertaken a detailed study of how people live in the idyllic Hervey Bay region to ensure the blocks catered for the unique sub-tropical lifestyle just a few hours from Brisbane and on the doorstep to Fraser Island.

Resi Ventures selected Hervey Bay for its lifestyle, rapid population growth and significant infrastructure investment.

“Bloom provides every resident the chance to live in a tropical paradise in their dream home with room for a shed to store boats and caravans and plenty of space for a pool,” he said.

Mr Saeed said construction of the first two stages would commence in mid 2023 with titles expected mid 2024.

Bloom is offering homeowners the chance to live a coastal lifestyle, with house and land packages from $563,356*.

The next release at Bloom will be 14 April 2023 when 9 unique lots will be offered to the public that are adjacent to a dedicated nature reserve with walkway access to Madsen Road.  The homesites will range from 817 sqm to 907 sqm and will be priced from $266,000.
