Resi Ventures Hosts Key Malaysian Delegates for Exclusive Site Visit at Monument Estate

Resi Ventures hosted a distinguished delegation of key Malaysian real estate leaders as part of the 2025 Asia Real Estate Leaders (AREL) Study Trip & Housing Dialogue. The delegation visited Monument Estate in Plumpton for an exclusive guided tour and an overview of the 500-lot master-planned development in Melbourne’s thriving west.

The visit, which took place on March 13, 2025, brought together prominent Malaysian officials and industry leaders to explore Monument Estate—a modern and sustainable residential community that offers affordability, connectivity, and access to abundant local amenities. With seamless access to major highways and public transport, Monument Estate exemplifies Melbourne’s forward-thinking approach to urban development.

Among the esteemed delegates were:

  • The Honourable Nga Kor Ming, Malaysia’s Federal Minister for Housing & Local Government – Delegation Guest of Honour;
  • Senior representatives from Malaysian housing authorities, including the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, PR1MA, and the State Housing Boards of Penang;
  • Tan Sri Datuk Eddy Chen, Trustee of REHDA Institute – Tour Lead;
  • Datuk Ir. Ho Hon Sang, President of REHDA Malaysia;
  • Datuk Chua Soon Peng, President of the Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA).

This site visit provided an invaluable opportunity for knowledge sharing and collaboration between Australian and Malaysian housing industry leaders. Delegates gained insights into Resi Ventures’ approach to creating vibrant, liveable communities, integrating sustainable design, and fostering strong community connections within Melbourne’s expanding urban landscape.

“We are honoured to host such a prestigious delegation at Monument Estate,” said Khurram Saeed, Director & Co-Founder of Resi Ventures. “This visit underscores the global importance of sustainable and affordable housing solutions, and we look forward to exchanging ideas and showcasing best practices in residential development.”

The AREL Study Trip & Housing Dialogue serves as a platform for cross-border collaboration, driving innovation, and fostering partnerships to address housing challenges and opportunities in both Australia and Malaysia.
