Accolade Estate Wetlands Open to Public
After three years of construction, Resi Ventures is thrilled to hand over the Accolade Wetlands to Council and open the space to residents. As a cherished community asset, the wetlands will have a positive influence on property values in the surrounding areas. The presence of such a serene and biodiverse space will attract homebuyers looking for a harmonious blend of urban convenience and natural beauty. Furthermore, the wetlands will serve as a gathering point for local events, fostering a sense of community bonding and camaraderie among Rockbank’s residents.
This green sanctuary, located on the corner of Nash Boulevard and Leakes Road at the entrance to the estate, promises a plethora of benefits that will undoubtedly enhance the lives of Rockbank’s residents.
Khurram Saeed, co-founder and director at Resi Ventures said, “The vision for the estate has been built around the 5-hectare wetlands.
The brief to our landscape architects, Beveridge Williams, was to create a green urban lifestyle space where residents can exercise, hang out with family and friends, and walk their dog, all within a stone’s throw of their home.”
The opening of Accolade Wetlands in Rockbank is a testament to the power of collaboration between nature and urban living. As residents enjoy the wetlands, they will find themselves rejuvenated, inspired, and connected to the natural environment. The wetlands’ ecological significance and health benefits promise to enrich the lives of the community, leaving an enduring legacy for generations to come.
The wetlands offer three fitness stations, a mixed-use path, a viewing platform, and picnic facilities, as well as providing a haven for birdlife.
