The Land Monkeys Variety Bash Team Raise $250,000 for Charity

The Land Monkeys team which consists of industry colleagues from Lotus Living, Oliver Hume, Ivy Street, and our own director Anthony Braunthal, have raised a staggering $250,000 to support kids who are living with disability, disadvantage or illness. This monumental effort saw the team awarded the 2022 Variety Bash Highest Fundraiser Award.

This year’s Victorian Variety Bash took drivers from Melbourne to Cairns over 10 days through remote communities in cars that were at least 30 years old.

During the journey the team stopped at local schools and organisations to share gifts and meet children who have been directly impacted by the support of Variety – the Children’s Charity and the fundraising efforts of the Bash participants.

The wheels are already in motion for next year’s fundraising events and the team hope to be able raise even more to contribute to educational, health and mobility equipment for children and families in need.
