Land Development Agreement Secures Resi Ventures Its Largest Regional Project

Resi Ventures has successfully signed its largest ever Land Development Agreement (LDA) with plans for a 1,000-lot residential subdivision in the Murray Riverside town of Echuca in Victoria’s north.

The $284 million development will offer land ranging in size from 500m2 up to 1,000m2 with the
first parcel comprising 530 lots.

Echuca has had no new land releases for almost 4 years and the supply has all dried up. Resi
Ventures is working closely with the Council to fast track the PSP and the planning permit to relieve
the supply pressure.

The first land release is slated to hit the market late 2022.

The land has been in the same family for a number of years, and Resi Ventures are delighted to be
working with them under an LDA to bring their land to life.

This is the third project secured under a LDA in recent months with plans for a 500-lot subdivision on
91 acres in Warragul and a further 500-lot development on a former quarry site north of Ballarat in
the township of Miners Rest.

These projects total 2,000 lots, strengthening the company’s development portfolio with the push
into regional Victoria.

Resi Ventures co-founder Khurram Saeed said the deal signified the strength of our Land
Development Agreement, with landowners looking for alternative options to maximise their
financial outcomes.

Resi Ventures are leaders in partnering with landowners under a unique LDA model that allows them
to retain ownership until project completion while the developer funds the project until completion.

“Working with landowners under an LDA is our core business, it gives them piece of mind by
alleviating the risk. They also benefit along the development journey by seeing their equity grow and
reap the financial gains by sharing in the development profits,” Mr Saeed said.

The 264-acre Echuca site has an enviable 1.2km of Northern Highway frontage, adjoins existing
township and is minutes from central Echuca and near schools, sporting facilities and the area’s main
hospital.

“Our vision for Echuca is to create a master planned community where people are proud to call it
home. Passive open & recreation spaces, a grand entrance and a sense of community are at the
forefront of the design. We look forward to delivering an estate and a lifestyle that people want to
be part of,” Mr Saeed said.
